Inside Text: From the Vine... On the 1945 Mouton-Rothschild bottle, there is a big V that stands for "victory" and the end of World War II. Since 1924, Philippe de Rothschild has asked a different artist to design his labels, a tradition still carried on today. Some of the most famous artists to have their work grace the Mouton label include Jean Cocteau (1947), Salvador Dali (1958), Joan Miro (1969), Pablo Picasso (1973), Andy Warhol (1975), and Keith Haring (1988)
